REGISTRAR’S DIRECTION NO 1 OF 2008
Documents Filed in the DIFC Courts
With effect from 1st September 2008, copies of documents to be filed in the DIFC Courts should be submitted in electronic form only. Electronic documents can either be filed via email to the DIFC Courts Registry email account — email@example.com or by delivering a disk containing the electronic files. Documents sent by email must contain in the body of the email message a list of all the documents attached to the email and will be acknowledged. Documents sent to the Courts which are contained in a disk must be accompanied by a covering letter listing all of the documents contained in the disk. This covering letter will be acknowledged as received once the disk has been checked to confirm that all the documents listed are on the disk.
