CASE MANAGEMENT ORDER OF JUDICIAL OFFICER SHAMLAN AL SAWALEHI

UPON reviewing the Court file

AND UPON reading the Case Management Bundle

AND UPON hearing counsel for the parties at the Case Management Conference held on 7 August 2012, and subsequent discussions between counsel for the parties regarding the Trial Timetable

WITH THE CONSENT OF THE PARTIES, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED THAT:

1. Standard production of documents to be made by each party on or before 4pm, 5 September 2012. [RDC 2011 Rule 28.6]

 

2. Parties to file and serve any Request to Produce on or before 4pm, 19 September 2012, [RDC 2011 Rule 28.13]

 

3. Parties to produce documents in response to Requests to Produce (where there are no objections) on or before 4pm, 3 October 2012. [RDC 2011 Rule 28.15]

 

4. Objections to Requests to Produce (if any) shall be filed and served on or before 4pm, 3 October 2012. [RDC 2011 Rule 28.16]

 

5. Hearing to be held within 14 days of Objections to Requests to Produce (upon confirmation by the requesting party that it wishes to pursue its request) (if applicable) and in any event not later than 17 October 2012. [RDC 2011 Ruie 28.20]

 

6. The parties shall comply with the terms of the Disclosure Order (if applicable) within seven days of the Disclosure Order, [RDC 2011 Rule 28.22]

 

7. Witness Statements are to be exchanged by not later than 4pm, 21 November 2012.

 

8. Reply Witness Statements (if applicable) are to be filed and served by 4pm, 12 December 2012.

 

9. Agreed trial bundles to be completed in accordance with Part 35 of the RDC and lodged by the Claimant not later than two weeks before trial. [RDC 2011 35.33]

 

10. The trial of this matter is to take place in the week commencing on 13 January 2013, subject to confirmation by the Courts. With an estimated duration of two and a half days.
