How to renew Practitioner Registrations

Law firms registered in Part l and practitioners registered in Part ll of the DIFC Courts’ Register of Legal Practitioners are required to renew their registration annually. Details of the fees for renewal may be found here.

Part I renewal – Law Firms

Please sign in to the DIFC Courts’ eRegistry to complete the online renewal form. Navigate to the More button (top right) and select Administration. Access to this page is for nominated Administrators only.

This screen is a summary of the law firm registration details. Simply click on the Renew Registration button to open the renewal form. It is necessary to attach a copy of the firm’s current Professional License or equivalent. Once the form has been submitted an email will be sent with full payment instructions. The renewal process will be completed by the Court when payment has been received.

Part ll renewal – Legal Practitioners

Please sign in to the DIFC Courts’ eRegistry to complete the online renewal form. Navigate to the More button (top right) and select My Account.

This screen is a summary of the practitioner’s registration details. Simply click on the Renew Registration button to open the renewal form. It is necessary to attach a copy of the practitioner’s current Practising Certificate. Once the form has been submitted an email will be sent with full payment instructions. The renewal process will be completed by the Court when payment has been received.
