H.E. Justice Shamlan Al Sawalehi from DIFC Courts, is chairing a panel at the Government World Summit called, “Bringing Order to the Fourth Industrial Revolution” on Monday, February 13th, 2017 at 9:00-9:30am. This panel will discuss these issues and how the flexibility of a Common Law system is well suited to follow technology trends and creating a more future-friendly legal environment.
DIFC Court’s H.E. Justice Shamlan Al Sawalehi will be moderating a panel of esteemed speakers; Chief Judge Loretta A. Preska of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York; Gillian Hadfield Professor of Law and Economics at the University of Southern California; and Dr. Sam Muller, Founding Director of the Hague Institute for the Internationalisation of Law (HiiL).
