Advertisement Requirements in Insolvency Proceedings
Citation
This Practice Direction will come into effect on the date of issue. It may be cited as Practice Direction 3 of 2011 — Insolvency (Advertisement Requirements in Insolvency Proceedings) and may be abbreviated to PD 3/2011.
1. This Practice Direction should be read in conjunction with
DIFC Insolvency Law (Law No. 3 of 2009); the DIFC Insolvency Regulations (in particular Regulation 5.3); and
Part 54 of The
Rules of the
DIFC Courts.
2. For satisfying Rules
54.61,
54.91(2) and
54.103 of the Rules of the DIFC Courts, the advertisement is to be published:
(1) Once in English in any of the following newspapers: English:
(a) Gulf News
(b) Khaleej Times
(c) The National
And;
(2) Once in Arabic in any of the following newspapers: Arabic:
(a) Al Bayan
(b) Al Khaleej
(c) Al Ittihad
