Notary Service

The DIFC Courts Notary Service was established by Resolution No. 1 of 2025 issued by His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the President of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), and its authority affirmed by Dubai Law No. 2 of 2025 issued by his Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

The service authorises Notary Officers of the DIFC Courts to administer, witness, and attest oaths, affidavits, affirmations or declarations, and certify and attest true copy documents. The primary source verification service is conducted through DataFlow. All notarised document transactions are logged in Hadera's Distributed Ledger Technology.
