The DIFC Courts Mediation Service Centre was established by Resolution No. 2 of 2025 issued by His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the President of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), and its authority affirmed by Dubai Law No. 2 of 2025 issued by his Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

Our service offers parties an alternative dispute resolution option facilitated by registered members of the DIFC Courts Panel of Mediators, providing a path to resolution outside of traditional litigation.
The entire mediation process is strictly confidential, ensuring that sensitive discussions and information remain private, fostering open and productive negotiations between parties.
Our fully electronic service allows parties from anywhere in the world to conduct sessions virtually, eliminating geographical barriers to effective dispute resolution.
The Mediation Service Centre offers a flexible, cost-effective alternative to litigation, with a pathway for parties to opt for directly enforceable settlements as Mediation Orders via DIFC Courts’ Enforcement Writs.
Parties submit a request for mediation through our electronic platform.
Parties may appoint someone from our Panel of Mediators or nominate a mediator to become a member to carry out the sessions.
