Nour Hineidi was appointed as Registrar of the DIFC Courts in November 2020. Before that, she served as the Deputy Registrar of the DIFC Courts. She started that role in February 2018.
Nour’s main role is to oversee the functioning of the DIFC Court Registry. Nour also presides, as Registrar, over a large number of procedural hearings and applications and is responsible for overseeing the case management function of the Court Registry. Nour is an accredited mediator and sits from time to time as a mediator and a Small Claims Tribunal judge.
Prior to joining the Courts, Nour spent time in private practice working in the disputes teams of large international commercial firms in Dubai and Australia. She has over twelve years’ legal experience in Australia and the Middle East, with her expertise concentrated in international commercial arbitration and litigation across a broad range of sectors.
Ayesha joined the DIFC Courts in the role of case progression officer in March 2015 and was promoted to the role of Assistant Registrar in 2018. In 2022, Ayesha was appointed as the Registrar of the Small Claims Tribunal and in 2020 Ayesha was appointed Deputy Registrar of the DIFC Courts.
She currently oversees case progression at the DIFC Courts, as well as sitting as a judge and mediator with the Small Claims Tribunal (SCT). Ayesha also hears applications in the Court of First Instance, Court of Appeal and the Enforcement Department. Ayesha also oversees the day-to-day function of the DIFC Courts Wills Service.
Ayesha holds a bachelor’s degree in Law and Political Science from University of Saint Joseph Dubai and studied there on a scholarship from the Edad Leadership Programme. She is also qualified to appear before the local and federal courts in the UAE.
Delvin joined the DIFC Courts in the role of Senior Legal Officer and the Pro Bono Programme Leader in March 2016 and she was promoted to the role of Assistant Registrar in 2020.
She currently oversees the progression of the Registration of Practitioners and the Code of Conduct. Delvin also presides, as the Assistant Registrar, over a number of Court of First Instance(CFI) applications and sits as a Small Claims Tribunal (SCT) Judge and Mediator.
Delvin is a qualified Dutch lawyer and has over ten (10) years of legal experience in The Netherlands, as well as the Middle East.
